No Beer At Haymarket Park

It appears alcohol sales at Haymarket Park will not happen during Husker games anytime soon. Per the Omaha World-Herald, the Saltdogs want 90% of the revenue. NU proposed a 50/50 split. Neither side will budge. Dagnabbit.

Yeah it is a tad annoying but not shocking with the parties involved. They will both suffer attendance to some extent unless we do become the world beaters we all hope to be again. They should just buy the stadium from the Saltdogs but I also know that is much easier said than done.

Saltdogs can kick rocks. That complex was jointly funded by the city of Lincoln and the University. Husker baseball averages more fans at games than the Saltdogs do.

It appears a compromise has been reached. The regents are set to vote on approval of alcohol sales during Husker baseball games at their meeting Friday.

The compromise makes sense to me as well. All revenue goes towards stadium improvement projects. I like that.
