Love it or hate it, NIL is here to stay. I don't know of anyone who doesn't think college athletes generate revenue for their university, and should be considered in financial planning. I also know no one thinks this version of NIL is sustainable.
So, for conversation purposes: How would you feel if the D line announced a strike for unfair pay and benefits? What's stopping them from walking out before a big game? I don't think they're contractually obligated to play. Who wants to be an underpaid LT for a million dollar quarterback...
