Took advantage of the Rivals database going back to 02 online and decided to take a look at Alabama. They were 30 and 49 in 02-03, then Shula landed classes of 15, 18 and 11. So Shula set Saban up with some pretty good classes. Saban held serve with his transition class in 07 with a rank of ten, then went 1, 1, and 5. Nick went 7-6 in his first year.
