I was at the game in Norman when Mickey Joseph slammed into a metal bench and opened a cut on his leg large enough that they had to use a garden hose to clean up the pool of blood.

NFL players have enough injury risk with what happens between the lines. I don't see a problem with trying to help an opponent avoid an injury on the sideline.

context is helpful. The games I watch, the announcers are effusive in their praise of everyone. They are very mild with any criticism. It's weird.
