The Huskers have been handicapped by bad recruiting for at least a decade.
Our offense has been handicapped by bad quarterbacks for the last eight years,
yes I understand all the records that Armstrong and Martinez broke but I also
know they broke records for turnovers and the most loses since the 50s.
As for the defense it has struggled since the nineties and the sorry thing defenses
can be fixed rather easily with good players. Of course middle linebacker has killed
us including today. As for that 4th and 10 play today, why do we back off ten yards
and let them complete an eight yard pass for a first down, something is sorely lacking.
As for next year, I hear O'brian is a good passing qp, that will be a step in the right
direction. As for the running back Tre Bryant is no Newby who is very average. Bryant
should be a H-back as he is good at catching balls out of the backfield. Ozigbo will be
our Newby next year. I think that the defense will be better next year and hopefully the
coaching will be better as well.
