1. No Black shirts unless in the top 10 of total defense after 6 games.

2. Take down all mention through out the practice facilities of the rich Nebraska history. Clean slate for you (players) to make your own history. Just White walls. Can leave inside the stadium for the fans.

3. Only one media session per week during the season by the coaches.

4. Got to stop all the media hyping for something that isn’t. Specially during off season. They are just paper tigers until proven on the field.

5. No player interviews until the team wins 6 games during the season. No freshman interviews period. No off season interviews.

6. All freshmen play at least 4 games during the season. They need to know what it is like to improve themselves in the off season.

7. Take the names off the back of jerseys until they win 6 games.

8. No “N” on helmets during practices, until the team wins 6 games.

9. Head coach interviews during off season for national signing days and annual scrimmage concluding spring practice only.

Everyone needs to stop talking about how much better we are this year from last year. Coaches need to stop talking about having good practices. Players don't need to say that we won't remember the Colorado game when we are playing for the Big Ten Title. Clearly we have used up to much energy talking and lack the energy to play a football game the way it should be played.

Thank God you aren't a coach. Scott Frost is an adult. He has responsibilities. The program has responsibilities to the media and university. Frost has a plan, he has to be consistent regardless of struggles on the field. Especially ones that were expected and predictable. ,Fixes that are done to make fans are self feel better are the wrong changes. Coaches have to be grown men and not cry for mommy, they can't be satiated by disparaging their players or placing responsibility for their problems on media accessibility. Scott has said it many times...all we can do is work hard to get better, recruit better. The team is what it is...Minnesota has scored 30+ in 5 straight big 10 games...we were going to need to score 30 to win...like we did last year. How the hell were we going to score 30? Explain....

Reevaluate your whole process.

Changes need to be made to your practice routine, scouting routine, etc., because what you have been doing so far is not working.

You didn’t include one dam step in coaching better or playing better except for maybe #6. The next step better sure as hell be on how this team can move the ball. The second step better be, how to stop the opponent.

Taking down pennants and pictures is all good and fine but that nostalgia is old. This team needs to learn how to play football

Ding, ding, ding! Admitting that would be step 1. Step 2 would be fixing it. There doesn't need to be 7 other steps.

Step 1. Hire actual high caliber/experienced assistant coaches and coordinators.

Step 2. Play football

Some of us fans know what we're talking about.

Run the option, Run the option, Run the option, Run the option, Run the option, Run the option, Run the option, Run the option, Run the option, Run the option! Doesn't sound like it. You don't sacrifice recruiting to win an extra game or 2 in a rebuild. There are certainly offenses that Frost could run to give our defense a better chance but then he would have to push away all of his offensive recruits of the last two years...

Who said run the option? You seem to be the only one saying that. Running the football is a lot different than running the option. Are you some type of history revisionist? I just wish the staff would do it out of a formation that is more conducive to success.

The truth about boards like this is all posters don't read all posts by all other posters. I am 100% against option football.

There is no reason any current commit, except possibly QB's, would not love running smash mouth football. Especially the offensive linemen and backs.

What formation was Minnesota running? Did they have success running the football? It is not about alignment and scheme (personnel formation). Why can't you guys get that through your head? It is not scheme, it is execution. And, execution comes down to coaching. So far, our coaching has been inferior.

They were running an offense they have proven they can run and we have proven we can't. An offense close to what we ran when Taylor Martinez was here and we won not a single division championship and appeared in only one. In addition, this offense is more likely to get a QB hurt. That is the last thing we need for consistently.

LOL. You were probably one of the guys crying that we needed a running QB during the Callahan/Riley years.

Holy crap. I actually agree with you on something.

But, is it not up to the coaches to change things if execution isn't working? The offense has sucked almost every game this year. Illinois and Northern Illinois are the only decent performances. The O-line clearly cannot run what Frost is asking. Why can't you get that through your head?

Blocking is blocking. If you can't block, you can't block. Tackling is tackling. If you can't tackle, you can't tackle. All the other stuff is superfluous.

You might as well give up on the season. And Husker football. I hear Husker's women VB is respectable.
