Just a thought.
With NU's difficult schedule next year and a decent recruiting class taking shape, albeit questionable if it will hold. Would it be best to give Riley one more year?
This would effectively give Riley a fourth season to recruit and fill the cupboard if needed for his replacement. Most likely Riley nor his replacement will have a tremendous year in 18 so why not wait a year, replace some assistants, let our current players show their maturity within the system, keep our eyes on some high quality replacements, and let the chips fall where they may?
