As I looked back over the past year and football season and reread some of my posts I decided the time was right for a collection of 10 resolutions for the new year and season! Ha. Let's see if I can stick by these. I would encourage others to post their resolutions as well.
I hereby resolve in the new year to:
1. Believe everything Red Rover posts no matter how insanely optimistic it is
2. Never criticize an in-game coaching decision unless I was standing on the sideline when the call was made... with headsets on.
3. Never pretend that I ever really understand what is going on "behind the scenes" when I can't even figure out why all the toilet paper is gone in my bathroom every time I sit down on the toilet.
4. Never again go into hysterical meltdown mode every time a recruit decommits.
5. Never again go into hysterical meltdown mode every time we get blown out by Iowa.
6. Never again go into hysterical meltdown mode over anything on this board and to reserve all meltdowns for whenever somebody in my household does anything even remotely annoying to me.
7. Never again argue with GBRhuskers on here. He is right in what he posts 99% of the time and I am wrong 90% of the time. (No sarcasm. I think those are accurate percentages. lol). Peace out!
8. Never again call for coach Riley or coach Miles to be fired even if they lose every game by 50 points. I lost $50 in a poker game two nights ago because I bluffed against someone who had a straight flush. So the number 50 seems right and my acumen at picking coaches for major sport's teams is right below my acumen for poker.
9. Post more about my favorite off topic passion: Scotch and Bourbon.
10. Stop telling the mods who to ban and who not to ban (ha. Snickerdoodle). In reality, I should have been banned from this board numerous times for the sheer lunacy of some of my predictions. I think there should be a board rule about getting banned for conspicuous and constant stupidity.
Happy new year everyone and GBR
