Is anyone else a bit perplexed that when we replace
Kalu with Reed (beginning with most of the 2nd half at Oregon);
Newby with King/Davis (Beginning some time during NIU);
Conrad with Decker (Beginning with Rutgers);
Knevil/Farniok with Jameis (Beginning with Rutgers);
that our team has played better? Are there other players standing on the sidelines who are better then the starters? Could some of the younger TEs step up? Wilson? What does that say about our coach's evaluations?
I'm all for getting Chris Jones back in the lineup IF he's full speed. But I'm not so sure about reinserting Kalu. Maybe Kalu should be the nickel.
Cavs said that he would not think about moving Conrad to OT before the Rutgers game because he's too valuable at center, then he replaces Conrad with Decker at center for Rutgers. A player who gets a dumb personal foul gets in Cavs grill on the sideline instead of just listening to his coach. Does Cav even belong on a D1 sideline?
