AT&T just installed gigabit Internet in my neighborhood but and I want to switch but am hoping someone can verify if uverse carries the alternate big ten channels during the football season. They list several sports alternate channels, but nothing specific to big ten network like time warner currently does.

This could be a deal breaker to switch do hoping someone can answer.. Thanks in advance.

In the KC area, I've had Everest/Surewest/CCI for the past 10-15 years. I'm also considering a switch to AT&T for the faster internet speed, but not sure how the pricing will compare once we add all of the movie channels, sports channels, etc.

...and AT&T's website for new services, pricing, etc. is awful.

I currently have time Warner and will save about 40 per month from what I am paying for the uverse 450 package. I will get many more channells.

I can't imagine that they would have BTN and not have the alt channels. Most of the time there's nothing actually on the alt channels, which is probably why they don't list them.

I would double check their Channel lineup. I assummed the same thing for Century Link Prism and was wrong. They did not carry the BTN Alt Channels until after football season.Missed out on some Big 10 games because of it.

Yes they carry all the alt channels. All providers do. So long as you have the BTN package Uverse 300 and up, you should get all the channels including CBS Sports, NBC Sports, Fox Sports, etc. 400 gives you more sports channels.

We live in Fairway and have ATT Uverse 300 package. We only get the primary BTN channel. Yes, we get a lot of weird sports channels (we can watch rugby from New Zealand or cricket from Sri Lanka), but we only get one BTN channel. We moved from Time Warner, which had more BTN channels, but were a pain in the a** to deal with.
