Schlepp with another amazing play at 2nd for out #1! Single to CF and the next guy walks to put runners on 1st and 2nd. RBI single to LF for OSU. Fly out to RF for out #2. The next guy walks on four pitches to load the bases. That will end Derek's day as the go to Jake Meyers out of the bullpen.
Groundout to end the threat.
We are pretty fortunate to only be down two runs right now.

Really bad series loss. The more I think about it, the more I don't think we are a lock for a regional. 7th place in the conference will not cut it. Quite frankly, that is an embarrassment and inexcusable. This team has a lot of work to do, and honestly I don't feel real good about things. I can't say I'm surprised we lost this one either. OSU was playing with passion and confidence, and we seem to be going through the motions, We are built way too much on relying on pitching and defense to carry us and the offense just isn't getting it done. The conference is getting better and we seem to be stuck in neutral.

Not even close to being a lock. We are a few Purdue or NW losses away from being in trouble. This teams claim to fame is sweeping a mediocre Texas team that now doesn't all look that impressive.

We had plenty of opportunities to win this series and unfortunately couldn't get it done at the plate. I'm not sure what our strategy at the plate is right now but it seems to be swing and hope. Losing Bolt as a hitting coach may be a much bigger loss than many of us may have realized.
