Milton Sargbah of Omaha North clocked a 4.43 40 yard dash at Friday Night Lights. Dylan Kautz as a sophomore runs a 10.68 100 meter dash and a 21.68 200 meter dash (all times electronic). He also ran an electronic 4.44 40 yard dash. Somehow, they seem to be graded less than if they were the exact same people but resided in FL or TX.
Sargbah seems to be the right type of guy for Frosts offense and a couple of years down the road he’ll be 180-190 lbs. He is fast, shifty, breaks tackles, can catch, etc. There are plenty of running backs of his stature that have seen great success not only in college, but also the NFL.
There just seems to be a negative bias in place. If you are as fast as these guys are without the benefit of good weather to train in all year long then the upside is even greater. Running a 10.68 electronic hundred training in Norfolk in the short high school track season with crappy weather is much more impressive than someone doing it in Fort Lauderdale. Maybe these guys will both eventually get offered as Kautz is only a Junior this year. Thoughts/Comments...?
