All of the top teams have multiple top talented kids in their own backyards they depend on year after year. In the past glory years Nebraska had talented difference makers from Nebraska also. Hopefully more elite homegrown Nebraska kids will once again be a big part of recruiting(not just walkons) but the center piece. Nebraska recruiting would be a lot better if we could have 4-6 elite homegrown kids become Huskers every year along with continuing national recruiting. To me Nebraska need elite homegrown talented kids that will stay and play for the big red. The same as USC, Alabama, Michigan, Clemson and even Missouri at one point. Seems every team have elite homegrown kids to recruit except Nebraska. 2018 is looking okay so far with two homegrown kids, but need more every year. How many elite Nebraska kids do you think is needed each year to turn things around? I think if we could get 2-3 elite offensive playmakers and 2-3 defensive playrmakers homegrown kids each year would tremendously help recruiting and restore Nebraska to elite status. What say you?
