I don't know how to tell you about this without committing the misdemeanor of "look at me," so I will start by pleading guilty and asking for your indulgence.
I was fortunate enough these last six days to be playing golf at several places along the Southwest coast of Ireland. We arrived at Dooks Golf Club Sunday afternoon and were introduced to our two caddies. This is a photo of one of them (and me, if you must know). I asked him - Michael - how in the world a caddie in County Kerry would have a Husker hat. He explained that a golfer for whom he recently caddied gave it to him, along with a generous tip. I told him that I too was a graduate of the University of Nebraska. Michael asked, "Well, what are YOU going to give me?" I replied, "Fame."
