14 hits and 2 walks through 5 innings makes it almost disappointing that we only have 8 runs... hope we keep hitting all weekend.

E3 gets 1st (radio guy says, heck no - legit hit)
Fly out to right
Single to center, two on, one out
HBP, bases leaded one out

(Derek needs to figure out how to get thru five innings)

Double play ball goes bad. Out at 2nd, throw to 1st goes wide (E6), two guys score.
Ground out

Huskers 8-4

Edit:
Scorer comes to senses - no E3, Miller all good.

I've been to most all of the games this year and have to say I look forward to seeing who we will have next year playing SS. Reveles just is not consistent with his throws and I for one am tried of it. Can't tell how many errors our first baseman has saved him this year. Way too inconsistent for a senior.

You know what? That was a strange game. Glad we found a way to stay on top.

New here. We sounded very shaky but loved the two out hitting. The combo of Johnson and Wood are as tough as it will come in conference play. Eddins was a stud. We kicked the ball around a bit. Still, very happy to walk away with the opening conference win.

Just a few tidbits thus far through the season: In 2015 (Entire year): 22 HR, SLG% .369, AVG .376, ERA 3.21, BB 196, Field% .975

In 2016 so far: HR 23, SLG% .455, AVG .284, ERA 4.38, BB 96, Field% .972

Feels like we have improved a ton hitting since Erstad has taken over hitting, and we have plenty of time to improve that ERA.
