You would think the way that some people post that the local elementary school teacher wouldn't dare take the job.

Alberts wasn’t getting the job. Interest is strong from sitting ADs at higher levels. Paying $1 mil will attract name candidates

Not surprised, it's one of very few athletic departments that makes money. You succeed here and you're royalty.Just sarcasm at some of the dumb stuff people say. The job was always going to attract some good names, but it sounds like the names are bigger than what your average person would have expected.

I’m guessing that has something to do with bigger name candidates showing interest. I don’t know what normal pay is for an AD, but the tweet suggests we are willing to pay handsomely for the right guy.
I see what you did there..I’m just guessing that would rule out the AD from UCF, if we are going after some heavy hitters...
Was actually not trying to start something... just that if we are in line for big names, that suggests p5.I see what you did there..

Neither of which is p5.UCF is higher level than UNO.
Agreed. Would be a huge pay raise for G5 I’m guessing. I think we are going after P5 all the way.Old data, but looks like your average AD would make around 600k or 500k.

Someone at a P5 or G5 school could get a nice pay raise.
But..but...if they don't have Husker ties the TC will cry like little girls.
@nebraskafaninwi how's it been old fella?Yep. Doesn't look like the TCU guy is one of the candidates based on Dan's tweets.
Getting Joe from OU would be a massive get. We should start hearing some names soon.
Wow, I’m surprised anyone would take the job for a dollar. Not sure if you saw the line that said, “Paying $1 will attract name candidates”..
Oops. My bad. Good catch.Wow, I’m surprised anyone would take the job for a dollar.
Yeah, that would be a good poll question. Who bitches more about the past...The TC or the Anti-TCI have no dog in the fight (I want the best candidate) but it seems to me like the anti-traditional coalition cries A LOT more the TC.

The Anti-TC is always having a hissy fit. What is even more crazy are the people who say Scott Frost isn't ready. Dumb. Scott Frost is plenty ready to get things started at Nebraska. Sure he would have some rough patches, all coaches do, but he is ready.

I'm guessing the answer would be whatever group you are not a part of. In that case the poll would overwhelmingly side with the thoughts of the Anti-TC crowd...probably 90-10 or so.Yeah, that would be a good poll question. Who bitches more about the past...The TC or the Anti-TC
