Former Husker Robinson Wins Italian League Title, Named MVP
Former Nebraska volleyball player Kelsey Robinson led her club team, Imoco Volley Conegliano, to the Italian Serie A championship on Monday in Villorba, Italy.
Imoco Volley defeated Nordmeccanica Piacenza, 25-21, 25-18, 25-20 to capture the first championship in the club's history.
Robinson, a Husker All-American in 2013, was named the most valuable player of the playoffs. She led the team with 18 points in the title match.
