Kadie Rolfzen Earns Academic All-District Honor
Nebraska senior outside hitter Kadie Rolfzen was honored on Thursday as a member of the CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 volleyball team. With her first career selection to the team, Rolfzen advances to the national ballot for the CoSIDA Academic All-America team.
Rolfzen, a Papillion, Nebraska native, carries a 3.72 cumulative GPA and is a four-time academic All-Big Ten selection. In 2015, she earned a perfect 4.0 GPA in her junior season in addition to first-team AVCA All-America honors on the court while leading the Huskers to the NCAA title. Rolfzen is a three-time All-American and is one of four players in Nebraska history to rank in the top 10 in both career kills and digs.
Rolfzen's award marks the 64th career academic all-district honor for the Nebraska volleyball program. Earlier on Thursday she was named one of 10 finalists for the NCAA Senior CLASS Award for volleyball.
