Kendall goes on to say the host sites will be based on merit at the end of April. I think there’s a decent chance of being a host with a record of, say, 22-8 and first place in the conference. That will take averaging two wins per weekend plus one sweep over the next four series which are all of the three-game variety. Two at home and two on the road. Against teams currently in 6th, 8th, 10th and 11th place. Far from impossible
If Michigan continues to stay towards the top they will get the northern bid in my opinion. They had a great showing last year in the CWS and have continued winning. No reason other than money to not give one to them.
