A Big Ten host at this stage seems unlikely, done in by the conference's ever-tightening standings.

Yes, getting swept by Rutgers meant losing being in first place by a fair margin and making a stronger case to host. I’m still hopeful to squeeze into the top 20 list based on geography and the strength of the bid (adherence to COVID protocols, etc.) and to play well enough the last three weeks to make the final cutdown to 16.

Kendall Rogers reported that Indiana did not bid so in terms of conference competition, it looks to only be Michigan.

Me too..Who ever wins the Big10 shouldn’t have to be a #2 seed in Arkansas bracket..
