D1Baseball's Stock Report. Here they explain their rationale for their post season picks.

The Big Ten part..
Big Ten (4 bids)
SAFELY IN: Maryland, Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska

ON THE BUBBLE (IN): None

ON THE BUBBLE (OUT): Minnesota

No change from last week.

We’re moving Nebraska from the bubble to the “safely in” category despite its modest No. 42 RPI, because the Huskers have moved into first place in the Big Ten and own head-to-head series wins against Maryland and at Indiana. They’re in good shape.

Minnesota remains in third place at 12-6, but the RPI continues to be a problem for the Gophers, who rank 75th, with a 3-6 mark against the top 50. A home series against Long Beach State this weekend presents a huge opportunity to make a move, but it’s a must-win for Minnesota to have a chance.

They say there is no change from last week but we have moved off the bubble to 'safely in'.

Win out and we reach 40 wins....have to think we would be in the hosting discussion at that point right? Probably not going to happen but we would make an interesting case at that point. Any scenarios out there were we could host as a #2 seed?

Hosting as a #2 seed was brought up before the Ohio State series and we blew game one. If we fall flat this weekend, it's on you.

I'm only half kidding. This discussion happens every year after a big series win and/or a long streak. Shortly thereafter, the team usually stumbles.

It's like not talking to a pitcher when he has a no hitter going: Don't bring up hosting a regional.
