Leaders who can't lead shouldn't be in leadership positions.
This is starting to include our new Big Ten Commissioner. You could say a lot about Delany but I bet the Big Ten would have a much more concrete and clear path by now if he was still in charge.
Not seeing much from Warren so far.

the B1G released its schedule 4 minutes prior to your final edit to this rambling nonsense.the commissioner is the spokesperson for the big ten task force charged with coming up with a plan for fall sports - ie football
this includes medical experts - the chair of which is from Nebraska, and other university representatives (ADs - presidents or their designees) with input from players and likely legal representation
it sounds like the ADs, presidents, players, medical and legal experts aren't on the same page ... once a consensus is reached a schedule will be released
perhaps the other conferences are struggling with the same issues but the BIG felt it would be disingenuous to release a schedule given the degree of uncertainty that exists
it also appears the BIG is struggling more with team activities needing to be shut down due to + tests than the other conferences - perhaps this delay is a way for the league to impress on the schools/players that it would behove them to act in a manner that keeps + tests below a certain threshold
or maybe there is more of the below going on at some schools versus others (note - some players are disputing this report)
