I follow the NBA pretty closely; i'm not all that up to speed on the current CBA details but i'm pretty sure both the owners and players have an option to opt out of the current deal this year before next summer. I doubt the players would stop this cash train, but I can't imagine all the owners like this uptick in player power we've seen the last few years in this super-team trend. Not sure what they can do about it or if they want to do anything since the money seems to be flowing for everyone. But there's obvious precedent when it comes to lockouts in the NBA, the owners don't hesitate to do it if they think it would make a better deal for them.
