So, is B12 lower-tier State playing a top tier B10 basketball program given their run at #1 Purdue, or was that a mirage?

there are sure to be countless replies to this insisting on the strength of the B1G as a basketball league (B1G's best sport)

all will discount the fact the conference is without a championship in 22 years despite having been gifted the most NCAA tournament bids of any conference during that drought

that said, I hope we win by 50. GBR

The game is on ESPN+. A good friend in KC has Kansas tickets, so we are going to see Kansas and Indiana at 11 AM, and Nebraska bear the kittens at 6 PM. Fun day.
The last time I was in Allen Fieldhouse was to see IU beat Ku there back in the 70s, when Knight brought the best program in the country to the Phog. Not much has changed in Lawrence. Great venue. Cheatin' and all.

Too bad it isn’t in Lincoln, would have been on BTN…

ESPN has the Volleyball national title in Omaha.

Hopefully they erased the tape from last year. Horrible play by both teams, maybe the worst college basketball game I have seen in person. I think Nebraska starting out hitting a few threes to take the lead and then missed like 15 in a row. Should be at least watchable this year.

I'm on high alert waiting for the Huskers to drop a stinker. Are they for real? This feels like it could be a basketball version of the 2021 football team "we're close" syndrome. I know we beat Creighton, but then got stomped at Indiana and couldn't seize the opportunity against Purdue. It's been fun to watch a competent team but I'm greedy and want to see some W's.

K-State is 9-1 but the OOC schedule has been filament thin. LSU (8-1) was the best win. Loss was at 8-3 Butler.

This is a completely new squad from the one played at Lincoln. Keyontae Johnson a 6'6" guard is the best player, NBA quality. Markquis Nowell 5'6" or so is the sparkplug point. 6'10" Nae'Qwan Tomlin is a most athletic but ever-so-raw player.

The team is athletic and likes to run, but it's not a good shooting squad to this point in time. Picked to finish last in the B12.

Nowell v. Griesel should be a hoot to watch out front.

We should play every year, both hoops and football, joining baseball which has for some time now.
