OK, so MSU has given every opponent except one directional state school 20+ points. And we're at home, so we ought to be good for 24. So the trick is to keep them under 24. I'm not sure how we do that the way the D has been playing, but we did keep Wiscy to 23 and Minny to 25, so it isn't beyond possible. Going to need a great special teams day, hope we're focused enough to cut back our mental errors, and hope their QB is having a mediocre day. I do think they are overrated, they have had a lot of close wins this year. Maybe they've used up their luck. GBR

need clarification .. under 24 for the entire game or first quarter??

Just to clarify, we would have to hold them to 24 for the whole game. Winking

Football is always a game of match-ups. For certain, the Huskers are due to have one of those games when they play out of their minds. That being said, on paper when you compare their strengths (passing game) and our weaknesses (passing game) it doesn't look good. We have shown no ability to even slow the passing game down and now we are finding QB's who are feasting on our D with their running abilities. Not a good combination but stranger things have happened.

I do know one thing:

- If Nebraska wants to win this game, they better be up by at least 9 points in the final 2 minutes of the game. Otherwise, the Huskers will lose.

The odds of the Huskers holding that type of a lead over the Spartans, late in the game, is slim to none.

Going to be a tough one. Last year we couldn't run worth a damn on MSU and that was with Ameer at the helm. Only way to win this game is to attack the secondary and it seems impossible for Tommy to be at 100 %.

At this point, I am hoping that Riley has been preparing for MSU and IOWA for the last 3 weeks.
