We aren't bare at LB according to the board expert. We are good.Man I'm glad Bo left us with so much depth with his amazing recruiting at LB or we would be screwed... Oh wait.

Bo's practices were less physical. Did you have a problem with it then??Can we start having these guys practice football like its supposed to be practiced.
I'm am convinced all this non contact crap is getting people hurt left and right. Their body's aren't conditioned properly for the physicality of a live game.

Don't beat me up to bad, I'm just asking a question. Isn't there more regulations limiting contact in practice these days?
My bad....I apologize.
Maybe I'm jaded by Pro football. It just seems like they need to allow more contact. There is a certain effort level it takes to tackle a person. I don't think players are seeing that level of effort in practice enough, therefore in games their using muscles and contorting in ways their body is not ready for.
I can't remember how/if it changed for college...HS in Nebraska has changed. 4 days of contact per week (includes game) no more than 30 minutes of contact in any one practice and you can't have contact on consecutive days.Don't beat me up to bad, I'm just asking a question. It seems rather odd that for the most part his year, we were happy that there was more tackling in practice and noting that while not perfect, tackling on the field this year was better than last year.
And in the same breath, we say that the lack of tackling in practice, is the reason that all of our kids get injured.
I'm not sure what the actual situation is, but it would seem to me that there can't be both quite enough and too little tackling.
Just seems likes players everywhere are dropping like flies...not just our guys.
Better hope it is just 4 weeks.
1. Where is your proof that more tackling in practice will stop injuries? That is derp-level dumb.Yes, this isn't about Bo. Its about football in general. But if you wanna go that route.
Wth are we doing in practice because we aren't prepared to play games.
Our coaches with all this coaching experience can't even manage a damn football game.
The crap football we have seen is a reflection of the coaches.
There since you had to make it about Bo.
Better hope it is just 4 weeks.
Truth. Did they ever say what grade it is?Better hope it is just 4 weeks.
Bo also had guys hurt just as much, so point being?Bo's practices were less physical. Did you have a problem with it then??
Exactly. I have no idea how the hell having them line up in practices and beat on each other is going to help them. Like it or not, that isn't how football works nowadays (and no, I don't like the change)Bo also had guys hurt just as much, so point being?
Jesus dude. You are all over the place. Tackling has nothing to do with your other bitches. Not surprising from the bloners to freak out on totally unrelated things. How bout some of you read, I said maybe its just the NFL.
I don't need to be a practice because the product on the field has been sloppy.
Talent level has nothing to do with lining up properly and not having the nuts to run on 3rd and 1. Or not even know how to milk the clock against BYU.
That's coaching. You know the thing our coach is paid millions to do.
