Need better skill position playersNeyor was bad, but I honestly was duped into thinking that a year ago, the team was a SERVICEABLE QB away from fielding an 8-9 win squad.
What did we honestly lose from last year? Was Nayor a subtraction by addition?Need better skill position players
Most overrated addition for sureWhat did we honestly lose from last year? Was Nayor a subtraction by addition?
disappointing but I'm curious who you have for disappointedDisappointed or disappointing? I have different answers.
Dana thought this was going to be a fun machine.disappointing but I'm curious who you have for disappointed
get some sleep champits so obvious losses are on neyor....right? according to red.
and red is such a genius he can figure it out, but the 8 million dollar ceo cant?
My post makes too much sense, you can't argue it on logic, only on insults.get some sleep champ
The difference is that Dylan is a net positive. Can't say the same about Neyor.5star qb over thrown 5 balls for TD, OC is pure trash (never finished in top 70 of total offense), no offensive identity (on HC), 3 games lost due to offense and HC/OC/ST coaches
You are hot and emotional. Pack it in.My post makes too much sense, you can't argue it on logic, only on insults.
Matt Rhule can. That's why he keeps playing him.The difference is that Dylan is a net positive. Can't say the same about Neyor.
I am using rational arguments. You are using insulting rhetoric, because you know you are wrong. You are hot and emotional. Pack it in.
...right through his handsMatt Rhule can. That's why he keeps playing him.
But it's been all season, right?...right through his hands
This year? Dylan has been playing at about the level his record is. He had a chance in 5 of those losses to make plays and didn't.The difference is that Dylan is a net positive. Can't say the same about Neyor.
How many plays is Dylan out there vs Neyor? But it's been all season, right?
You know what else has been all season? DR missing wide open touchdowns. (5 star)
Special teams choking and making poor decisions again...and again...and again...and again...
Poor clock management
Playing Neyor! Most Disappointing!
The 8 million dollar man cannot be held accountable for any of that, however. He's doing his job! Yelling at refs and platitudes at the podium...that's all we can expect from him! How dare we expect more?
Dylan makes enough plays to win most of the games. This year? Dylan has been playing at about the level his record is. He had a chance in 5 of those losses to make plays and didn't.
Hmm..Neyor gets targeted and he shit the bed, repeatedly.
I think shitting the bed was a pre-Rhule thing
If DR hits the wide open Lloyd the first series and the wide open Neyor catches the ball in the 4th quarter, those two plays are enough to overcome the botched FG snap, the fumbled punt and the DR fumble with 20 seconds to go.Dylan makes enough plays to win most of the games.
If any of those happen, we are in victory formationIf DR hits the wide open Lloyd the first series and the wide open Neyor catches the ball in the 4th quarter, those two plays are enough to overcome the botched FG snap, the fumbled punt and the DR fumble with 20 seconds to go.
If Neyor catches that ball, its game over.
You expected too much from a true freshman. Your analysis is correct, but true freshmen QBs have deficiencies which hopefully will be rectified as they mature. He got us to a Bowl which no other QB has done in the last eight years.Neyor was bad, but I honestly was duped into thinking that a year ago, the team was a SERVICEABLE QB away from fielding an 8-9 win squad. Our 5-star freshman didn’t hit a WR in stride on a deep pass all year…missed a WIDE open TE in the endzone against Illinois to win… I just expected darts, and what we got was a lot of underthrown and overthrown passes.
He was starting his 12th game last night. After game 5 the freshman excuse is gone. He needs to hit those deep balls and know where the pressure is coming from. He coughed it up twice last night and was lucky to recover one of them. You expected too much from a true freshman. Your analysis is correct, but true freshmen QBs have deficiencies which hopefully will be rectified as they mature. He got us to a Bowl which no other QB has done in the last eight years.
And we have enough talent to have beaten everyone on our schedule this season. But Rhule is a bitch and plays for a one possession win every week. He started burning clock with 7 minutes left against a team that couldn't move the ball. Lead to us losing in embarrassing fashion.By the way I agree we need more talent at the skill positions. This is true. But guess what else is true?
-We have more talent than Iowa at the skill positions already
-We have enough talent at the skill positions to beat Iowa
