Talent on that team was amazing. That year we had the Heisman Trophy winner, the Outland/Lombardi Trophy winner and the #1 pick in the NFL draft represented by three different players (Rozier, Steinkuhler and Fryar) and none of them were the team MVP. At least not in my mind or the minds of 80% of the Husker fans at that time. The clear most valuable player on that team was Turner Gill.
