Cory Ross, "Pork Chop" as I believe was his nickname is correct. Ross, a very good running back for the Huskers during the Solich/Callahan years. Shifty little sucker with good speed, great vision. Good job.Cory Ross.
Yeah, thanks for playing along. I'm usually posting between 8:30 and 11:00am in the morning. Depends when I roll out of the rack.Nice answering your trivia questions when I’m on the board on time when you post them...
I might be misremembering but I think Jay Sims was on the field for Tommie's 75 yard touchdown in the fiesta bowl where he broke all those tackles. We need a trivia question for Tyreese Knox or Jay Sims.

Ironically, tyreese Knox was sitting in seat 15, row 75, section 5 for that game and had consumed 62 beers.I might be misremembering but I think Jay Sims was on the field for Tommie's 75 yard touchdown in the fiesta bowl where he broke all those tackles.

I do believe it was Jay Sims who had the run to inside the Florida 5 with under a minute left before Turman took a knee to end the game.I might be misremembering but I think Jay Sims was on the field for Tommie's 75 yard touchdown in the fiesta bowl where he broke all those tackles.

Jay Sims was the fifth string back who clocked a 4.31 El 40 against MSU in 95 he also broke a long run for six after LP gauged the Nick Saban led team along with A Green C Child’s And D Benning all got there turns. Saban was in awe of Nebraska depth at RB And stunned by LP calling him one of the best he ever played against.I do believe it was Jay Sims who had the run to inside the Florida 5 with under a minute left before Turman took a knee to end the game.
