Gotta go. Will check back later.

Here's a clue: This team used to be in the Missouri Valley conf. Now they're in the Big East.

The only school I can even think of is Notre Dame, but I have no idea if they have even ever won it all.

I am going to guess City College of New York, because I know they are the only team to win the NCAA and NIT tournaments in the same year. No idea if they played in a conference or not, but that's my guess.

Marquette ??????? spelling is probably wrong.
Good call - I think Marquette was independent back when they won it.

I remember a bunch of guys from that team: Butch Lee, Bo Ellis, Jerome Whitehead, Earl Tatum.... Tatum was an amazing shooter.

Definitely Marquette in '77 great team led by Butch Lee, Bo Ellis & Jerome Whitehead

Marquette in '77 is correct! Good job. Also, Al McGuire's last game as head coach was that '77 Nat. Title game vs. North Carolina.
