More game times announced for 9-17-16.

Supposedly there is still a night slot open from espn/abc...still hope for a night game....could our athletic dept or the conference try to push for a night slot? Hell even a 5 pm kickoff would work

No. Nebraska has zero influence in the matter.

Looks like their are 4 big games left to announce but I see 4 probable good slots--
USC-Stanford
Oregon-Nebraska
Miss. State- LSU
Colorado-Michigan

Based on sheer speculation only, I'm say Michigan-CU is 2:30pm on ABC, USC-Stanford is 7pm on ABC, Oregon-Nebraska is 6:30pm on ESPN and LSU is on ESPN2. Don't shoot me if I'm wrong. I'm already under enough stress.

Thought the USC game was already announced the 8pm time slot?

And I guarantee the UM/CO game will be a noon ESPN game.

You're correct on both accounts.

The Noon games are as follows:

ABC- Florida State @ Louisville
ESPN - Colorado @ Michigan
ESPN2- Temple @ Penn State

There are basically 2 slots remaining for ESPN or ABC:

2:30 on ABC
Pitt @ Oklahoma State is already a 2:30 game on ESPN

ESPN2 is going to air Women's Hockey that day... Go figure. That means the ABC game would need to be National if its a Big Ten home game. There would be no National Mirror available.

7 pm on ESPN

These are the remaining games ESPN has for that day:

Auburn @ A&M
Georgia @ Mizzou
UCLA @ BYU
Oregon @Nebraska

They can move both the SEC games to the SEC Network. And that could be what's holding up everything.. I'm betting the SEC is pissed off a few of their marquee matchups might fall to the SEC Network.

I also bet ABC/ESPN is mad they grabbed the rights for that UCLA @ BYU game... There really is no spot for that game on their platform without leaving a really good SEC game off the table.
