>>> A caller asked Moos to save Nebraska from a 20-year struggle. He also asked the new A.D. about his short list he keeps of coaches for certain jobs if they come open.

Moos said what he looks for in a coach is integrity, and a person who is a good mentor, "but they realize the competitive aspect is extremely important as well."

"Not everybody that may fit at Oregon at Washington State may be a good fit at Nebraska, and vice versa, so the list gets changed. It gets amended a long the way. I'm again working on the list, not because I have any plans. I just like to be prepared if something happens. ... Because nowadays, you better be ready to make your move and not take a lot of time, because there's others who are going to be circling the wagons as well."

Hmmm...

I've said this before...let Riley finish the year unless there's a few power five schools who fire theirs and are after top candidates

Will be real interesting if aTm, Florida, Tennessee, UCLA and Nebraska are all looking for coaches

Surely Florida won’t be, they won the division the last two years.

Does anyone really think we have a shot in competing against those teams alone of getting a top name. Shoot, I don't think there are that many to go around.
