If we lose Mickey you can kiss a lot of talent goodbye. Why any coach would get rid of Mickey, Busch or Applewhite is beyond me. Those guys are doing a great job
I think sometime this week, I will scroll through the threads and kind of get an idea of the overall feeling of Mickey becoming Head Coach, those who are for it at this time, and those opposed.
Not using this as a finger-pointing excercise, moreseo, just to get a better overall view since Mickey has some strong support, some mild support, and some who are neutral, some are against it, and some are deadset against it.
None of us are involved in the process of choosing who the next head coach will be, and I'm sure the majority of us have decided if we would or would not like Mickey as the head coach.
I think every poster is entitled to their own opinion, those for and opposed to Mickey all have valid reasons for their approval/non-approval.
Many are undecided depending on how the rest of the season ends. Those would be considered "potentially head coach - based on the remainder of the season results."
I'll use categories like "strongly in support of his hiring", "strongly opposed to his hiring" "non-committal based on upcoming results", "lack of resume, HC experience", etc.
I'm open to other suggestions on the criteria. Since I have time, it just seems like a fun thing to do.
