If Hill stayed healthy last year, he’s a 1-3 rounder. He did a great job against Hunter, obviously had the pix 6.IF Hill is healthy, he has a decent chance of getting signed by the Vikes.
I would agree with this and for his sake I hope so. Felt bad for him at the end of the season he just hadn't healed up yet. Foot issues can be trickyIF Hill is healthy, he has a decent chance of getting signed by the Vikes.
Incorrect. The Steelers top UDFA got a $30,000 bonus to sign with them. Anyone who makes the team UDFA or mini camp invite, will get the minimum NFL salary.2025 Mini Camp Invitees recieve room/board and $2,000 per week. That is a huge drop from an UDFA who make $840,000 salary.
If that were actually true, he would have been drafted, probably on Day 2. Notre Dame had a corner who has had two hip surgeries. Michigan had a corner with a toe injury and long term doubts about his knee. Both those guys have concerns about their longevity. East Carolina had a guy with a torn ACL.If Hill stayed healthy last year, he’s a 1-3 rounder. He did a great job against Hunter, obviously had the pix 6.
Rookie Mini Camp invitees are typically not paid a salary but only paid for their travel, lodging, meal allowance and per diem. They are not all under contract. It is typically for rookie players and up to 5 veterans players. It is mostly an orientation to the NFL. This isn’t regular mini camp.Incorrect. Correct. It's just a tryout at a voluntary mini camp.Mini camp invitees are typically not paid a salary but only paid for their travel, lodging, meal allowance and per diem. They are not under contract.
It’s my opinion that Hill would have had a great SR and putting it on tape bumping him up the draft board. Injuries honestly stopped this. Geeze what’s wrong with you? Bitter at me or did someone piss in your cornflakes? On the spectrum much?If that were actually true, he would have been drafted, probably on Day 2. None of those three guys were able to work out or were limited. All of three of them went in the 2nd round. Nobody in the NFL had Hill rated anywhere close to the 1st or 2nd round. Any speculation to the contrary must have come from people who didn't actually know what they are talking about.
Tommi may have really screwed up his foot. I had a kid (XC/T&F) who struggled with PF at the end of a track season, which then lingered in summer and nagged him into the XC season. PF is something that can stick around. And Tommi was pretty bullheaded about wanting to be out on the field. It was a situation where they should have sat him, and they didn't.It’s my opinion that Hill would have had a great SR and putting it on tape bumping him up the draft board. Something wrong with me? Depends who you talk to. But next time, just pick one snappy comeback. No need to use three. Nothing personal and sorry if I upset you in any way. I just grow so weary of our media (and fans) vastly overrating our players year after year. My opinion is that the NFL had plenty of tape on Hill. He started 12 games as a junior, had some interceptions and quite a few pass breakups. His senior season was disrupted just like those other three. It’s my opinion that Hill would have had a great SR and putting it on tape bumping him up the draft board. Injuries honestly stopped this. We definitely need help at corner. That was the reason I thought he has a shot to get signed and maybe stashed on the taxi squad. If Hill is healthy he's got a great shot at hanging around the NFL. Great measurables and kick return experience. Still raw as a corner, but special teams should give him a chance to develop. My Vikings friends say they need help at corner.
