He's getting up there age wise for a college RB. Probably a good time to get in the league and try and earn a roster spot as a UFA.

I could see him as a fullback. I thought he was a really good blocker for Martinez.
Wish he was coming back, but this is a smart move. NFL probably imposes a bigger age discount on RBs than any other position.
The guys is 24 years old. Time for him to get on with his life and make a living. Wish him the best in his pursuits and he'll always be a Husker!
Yeah, he just wasn't suited for this offense. Lacking the quick feet, cutting ability and the speed unfortunately. Wish him well
I don't know if he's an explosive enough athlete but if he can get in a camp with a team who needs a solid back and then has some other injuries in camp, I've seen weaker backs than him make rosters. Certainly a practice squad isn't out of the question if he can get to some preseason games and show up on special teams. All I'm sayin is "there's a chance". Hope he's finished his degree.
