If media outlets didn't do a public request for details on coaches contracts to publish a story and make news would anyone even know about it?
Shatel's article had me thinking about his negative recruiting angle. I mean if the paper itself did not make it public knowledge would we really believe that coaches at other schools would have any idea what Miles contract terms were?
I just can't see Bill Self calling around to see if Miles has 4 or 5 years on his contract so he can negatively recruit against him.
Now once the information is out there I can see other coaches using it against Miles but without the records request wouldn't it be pretty easy to keep it confidential.
