Mike Tirico leaving ESPN for NBC

There will be an opening on the announce team for Monday Night Football as Mike Tirico is leaving ESPN for NBC. Tirico will most likely be a part of NBC's Sunday Night Football team. Also NBC will air some Thursday night games starting this season, with CBS and NBC each airing five games apiece on Thursday nights this year.

Also, maybe NBC is going to go after the other half of the Big Ten TV package and Tirico could be used as their top college football announcer.
