This year was all about implementing a new system and changing the culture. I'm so excited to see the team this Saturday and on Black Friday against Iowa. These two game have different challenges but both will play a major role in the programs future. Riley has made a concerted effort to teach the kids that preparation is key to success. And this weeks game at Rutgers is a dramatic example of that key. Building off your success is a cultural component that has been missing. Now we'll see what progress Riley has made in changing the culture? Saturday can't get here fast enough!

Just stop already. You are as annoying with the bloners spamming their crap.

Rover, were you the one saying a while back that Pelini needed a minimum of 10 years to fix what Callahan had done to the program or was that someone else?

@Tommy_Gun4 @OWHbigred How bout the fans dude? Feel like playing in front of crowds like Purdue had last week?

Didn't we have a good amount of Husker fans there? He's probably talking about support on the road.

I want more than anything for this team to rise above all of the noise and distractions and start to move forward on the road to consistent success. Everyone was encouraged after the Minnesota game and thought the corner had been turned only to lay the proverbial egg at Purdue. This team, like all teams, needs to reach for another level of competitiveness on a consistent basis. One could say they were consistent with the narrow losses but the numbers do not indicate that is the case. In short, while it was a fantastic win, making it a habit moving forward is important and a step back is really a bad sign.

BTW, what coach does not attempt to build on their recent success? There is lots of room for growth.

I certainly respect your enthusiasm. No reason to have any "buts".

Let's hope this year can be attributed to being a transition year and we move forward successfully.

The team and fan base seemed to be celebrating in unison at the conclusion of the Michigan State game.

I don't remember saying ten years. But i totally bought into what Tom was selling. I even bought into the talk that Bo was green and need some time. But after the meltdown against Oklahoma in the title game i was pretty much done.
