Mike Cavanuagh to ASU

He was a Husker oline coach under Mike Riley.
call me surprised. Are programs that desperate for old O line coaches? The guy did put some O linemen in the NFL over the years but even a blind pig finds an acorn every now and then. His worst attribute IMO was his high school player evaluation.

The corching fraternity is small and they take care of each other. Lots of bad corches keep floating around like unflushable turds.

I am not going to that far, but there is some merit to what you are saying. Would love to be a fly on the wall during some of these interviews. I’m sure Herm has called in favors to get his buddies jobs and vice versa.

I’m honestly surprised he is still coaching. I saw him at the airport once and he open sores on his legs. My guess is pretty serious diabetes.

This is why these guys don't crap on each other. The next 6 figure contract is only a phone call away.

His recruiting set the Huskers back years. He would swing for the fences, fail and end up with uniform fillers with one exception
I don't actually think his coaching was all that bad. His recruiting was atrocious other than Jaimes.

Good god, it’s coach. C O A C H . Not corch

spellin klass dont sturt til tin o clck

Also there is this from the Urban Dictionary

Corch
A particularly inept coach, especially one who manages to evade firing by having talented players on his or her roster. As a coach becomes more and more useless, the "a" slowly morphs into an "r."

Alternately, "Corch" may be used as a verb, as in, to "Corch" a kid up.

Inadvertently coined by U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown on the House floor (in reference to "Corch Irvin Myers" of Florida).
