Unless we wanted to ship my kid off to a high school over 75 miles away, we had no choice but to have her take government and speech from Marxist high school teachers. Then those same people coached debate and other extracurricular events. They're nice guys. The students like them. When you give a person that much face time with your kid for 4 years of high school, there's no doubt they're going to be influenced. Additionally a friend who recently retired from teaching in our local high school came out of the closet as....gasp....a conservative Republican voter. He said, "there were exactly TWO of us in a school with over 1000 students, who admit to voting Republican. It's a rat's nest of socialists".enrollment in universities are, correct me if I’m wrong, entirely voluntary.
these elite universities have endowments in the billions - they must be doing something right
there are alternatives like Liberty for those so inclined
Yes you CAN send your kids to more conservative colleges IF you like. I would have loved it IF mine had chosen Liberty. That isn't within the budget of most parents and that may not be the choice of the student who has been indoctrinated by liberal teachers for 13 years. My experience over the past couple of decades with teachers is that the best and the brightest are not going off to college to become K-12 teachers. From what I've seen it's the average and lazy. But hey, a socialist agenda fits nicely with today's entitled youth.
