I’m concerned about your defense. We don’t do well with the 3-3-5, with lots of movement and confusion. I don’t know if you saw the TCU game but it was probably my least favorite game from last year. I didn’t like it and would prefer to avoid a repeat. Would you guys mind just lining up like men and doing something we are more comfortable blocking? Thanks in advance.

Hoping polar bear snaps your QBs legs

Welcome Wolverine. It WILL be interesting to see if our D can slow you down some. I hope our offense can find some success against you. If they can it might actually turn into a dogfight.

No matter how the game goes it's exciting to see the #2 team in the nation come into town. Good stuff!

I hope our offense can move tje ball enough to keep our defense off the field are you coming to the game ? You are solid and hopefully you can represent the Big in tie playoffs again.

We will test the Wolverines while on defense but not on offense. After you shut down the QB run, or injure the QB, it will be smooth sailing. A learning game or scrimmage for you, but not much else. Hoping for no injuries on either side.
Definitely not a learning game or scrimmage, come on. Your D is legit. I watched the Colorado game - dominated until all the turnovers piled up and the defense was forced to be on the field forever. Nobody can sustain that. But if you avoid all those turnovers, and we give you some, and the crowd gets going ? I don’t know, man … not taking anything for granted.

So if the defensive formation is one that’s effective and you don’t like, the team using it is not manly enough?

And yet Michigan fans wonder why the entire world considers them blowharding, gasbagging assholes. Go figure.

Our message board is littered with Michigan wannabees.. they and the head coach want to be just like you guys.. have you heard? you're the new blueprint for our success now.

Personally, I don't like the new wave thinking around here, but that is what Nebraska has become.

Go Big Blue?

Perhaps the biggest test so far for Michigan so far maybe... (or Rutgers?) But the schedule hasn't been too rough for your Wolverines. I'll be honest I don't see how we're going to do much on offense against the Michigan D. Best chance we have is have our own defense keeps us in the game and makes it ugly.

Looking at Michigan's schedule I don't see a real test until November 11th in Happy Valley. You guys will likely be 9-0 heading into that game. Maryland and OSU afterwards too will tell the story for your season.

Thanks for checking in.

Hope your defense, offense and special teams have their worst game ever this weekend.

If you all lose them I'll be rooting for you all the rest of the season. Otherwise suffer the husker curse and losing embarrassingly to everyone else.

Huskers will be lucky to score more than 14. You'll be fine.

Look, I may be an asshole. I may have engaged in blowharding a time or two. But I have never, ever gasbagged. At least I don’t think so. I’m not entirely sure what that is.

In any event, I apologize for hurting your feelings. Please feel free to use whatever defensive alignment you prefer, no judgement.

Good luck Michigan Man. Nebraska is definitely in rebuild mode. Our offense is inconsistent and sputters regularly in the first half of games so far this season. We lack playmakers partly due to injuries, but also have some younger players that need time. The 335 has been a Godsend! Physical group that gang tackles and flies to the ball. Special teams play has been up and down. FG kicking is a bit of an adventure with a true freshman.

Wish it was a night game. Hope the fans are still rocking. I expect a low scoring game with both offenses struggling to do what they do best, run the ball. Could be more interesting than a lot Husker fans think. We match up well with you on blackshirt defense vs your offense. Just need some luck on offense

I think we will do ok stopping the RB's, but McCarthy might get his on the ground. That seems to be one area we've had a little trouble with. Hopefully we are able to collapse it around him so he can't slip out.

A lot of our players have specifically called out that night game two years ago at Nebraska as one of the top environments they have ever played in. Heard much the same from our fans who attended. Great stadium and fans, Thunderstruck is awesome, love it all!

on brand for Lincoln/Lincolnites, always doing too much. enjoy the splendor of our abundant roundabouts, how progressive.

As an outsider to this game, I plan on taking Nebraska and the points.
Not a good choice in my opinion. Nebr. is a one-dimensional offense (last in the nation passing yds), and Mich. will quickly take it away, force us to throw, and the TO's will mount up. Even though it is in Lincoln, I'm guessing something about 35-7.

Thanks for checking in, most of our fans like good natured ribbing but we have some who just can't help themselves. If you're going to the game I hope you will enjoy the good hospitality most Nebraska fans will show you. I do hope it's a good game and one that helps both teams progress this year. GBR!
