Michigan #3

Can anyone explain why Michigan is still ranked #3 after losing to Iowa? According to ESPN, they were #3 last week, and now #3 again at 9-1. If I was Washington I would be pissed.

Because the other 2 teams behind them lost as well. Sorry but that is where they should he. Still a top 4 team even with the game against Iowa. Playing on the road in a hostile environment at night against a team with nothing to lose. (see MSU vs NEB last year). Winning on the road at night in college football is not easy to do.

Thanks, didn't take into account of both teams losing behind them. Still, I'd be angry if I was Washington. Should be interesting to see how it plays out after the Osu and mich game

Michigan has beaten 3 teams in the top ten. Washington has very few quality wins
