Michigan’s HC suspended for Husker game

Just read that as well. Could receive additional punishment from ncaa. 2 game self imposed by Michigan

It's kind of funny to me having lived around so many Michigan fans. As a group they always seem to think they are the classiest team in the country and the bluest of the blue bloods. They consider most other teams inferior.

That's the Michigan way. Most arrogant fanbase in the BIG Ten.

Michigan is a blue blood. They have every right to feel the way they do. We're a blue blood. We just haven't had anything to back it up recently. But Michigan has more resources than us and is located closer to the talent than we are. We just have to overcome our natural shortcomings, which is location and population. The game has changed since TO retired. I'm convinced that he could be successful in today's game. He would make the adjustments. I mean, the game has changed so much in the last 5 years. Not only is Coach Rhule trying to catch Nebraska up to where everyone else is, he's also had to navigate NIL just like every other coach has to. Teams like Ohio State were already in good shape for the NIL era. That's why you see them being successful early in this new era. They don't have to make a lot of changes to compete.

Obvious cheating was obvious. The NC should be vacated but NCAA has no balls
The NCAA cannot vacate the NC. The FBS championship is not an NCAA event.
Further, vacation is usually only a sanction when athletes compete while ineligible. That did not happen here.

Everyone tries to cheat, Stallions was just the best at it at the time. To think NU and every other team weren't scouting teams playcalls isn't realistic. I'm sure NU had a Stallions on staff as well but it was probably some frost drinking buddy.

The only time that Michigan wins a national championship in football since the 1940s and it’s only because they engaged in perhaps the largest cheating scandal in NCAA football history.

Meanwhile Harbaugh raking in the big bucks while this poor sap gets the fallout. Sounds about right

Why are they allowed to pick games 3 and 4 as the games he would be suspended? Why would it not be the first 2 games or even the first 2 league games?

Since the Wolverines are picking the games their HC will sit out I guess I'll be insulted it was Central Michigan & us.

But nobody has to flaunt it in other people's faces all the time. That's just arrogance IMO.

Yes, it's meant by them as a Michigan insult to Nebraska. They always looked down on Nebraska as not mattering to their fans.

Read their going to allow his to coach against Oklahoma..
I don't believe they are playing Oklahoma. I was told teams dont want to play good out of conference opponents anymore, its the smart thing to back out of them and not cowardly at all.

They agreed to start the suspension in the third week so that Moore can coach against his alma mater, Oklahoma, in the second game. He played offensive guard there from 2006-2007.

So they self imposed a suspension on the HC because everything was on the up and up…..ok
They already did this with Harbaugh

And the conference also suspended him

Are there new revelations here I suppose is my question

This is not enough punishment. They had been cheating for years. They should give up that Natty.. or worse yet, forfeit the games they won against Ohio St. .... I could care less about suspending their lame ass wannabe coach.

Suspending the coach for a couple of games is the most overrated and least impactful punishment possible.
There are plenty of other coaches on their staff that can fill the role for a few games

Fakest (is that a word?) punishment ever. Does anyone really believe the HC isn’t running shit “remotely” during his two weeks of “suspension”? It’s the equivalent of an NFL franchise fining a star player 50k who makes $20 million a year. Show measure with zero real consequences.
