Just wondering if anyone else had seen this and had thoughts. Wilbon claims Blacks don't discuss or care about analytics so the fact that sports is moving in that direction is somehow a way to keep blacks out of coaching and management positions in sports. Seems extremely narrow minded and sad that he would claim this. I know lots of black analysts, in both sports and economics. And I think the true flaw in his argument is he would be hard pressed to find anyone of any race in a casual setting sitting around discussing advanced metics. Sounds like he is just trying to rattle the cage. I have a lot of respect for Wilbon. It's too bad he had to write this garbage.
