In the south, it does matter more. It matters how much you can steal from the other team, how much you can badmouth and trash talk, and how much you can show boat when you win and make excuses when you lose.

Sure, Florida has a higher ceiling than Ole Miss, but they haven’t hired a great coach in 15 years and rumor is the university administration is only lukewarm when it comes to supporting championship level football. Ole Miss is spending the money and Kiffin already has it rolling there; not at all convinced he makes that move in-conference.

Pretty stupid to place your recruits near the opponents field entrance. Where does Nebraska put it's visitors? On the north side or south side? If Neon Deon is able to get within shouting distance of any of our top visitors on Saturday, the recruiting staffers should be jailed.
Used to be mid-field East Stadium. On the sideline before the game. I don't know how switching sidelines impacts that. A pretty big block of players families and recruits in east stadium that would have to be moved.
If the recruits are up in the stands with their parents and the team's family, that is fine. Just keep them away from Neon Deon and his thug team.
