Miami fans pelting field with trash

This incident made me think about alcohol sales at games. Imagine if Memorial sold beer...I know it probably won't ever happen anytime soon, but given that we are already pretty loud.. I can only imagine how much more rowdy it'd be. Anyone know stadiums/schools that sell? Only one that comes to mind is TU (Texas).

Throwing trash won't help their cause.
Actually, this needs to start happening. It's a stupid rule to eject someone for making a football play, and there needs to be some way to protest it. Most of the time throwing trash on the field is a pathetic thing to do, and the last time I've seen it is Colorado. But I support it in this case to protest a BS ejection call.

Put yourself in that situation like Gerry last year. You're trying your best, you're doing what your coaches tell you and trying to make a play on the football. But then you get called for targeting and have to sit out the rest of that game when your team needs you to win. Most guys would be upset by that, but if that was called on me, I wouldn't just be upset. I'd be pissed. There needs to be a way for players to protest it, and I'd feel like hammer throwing my helmet across the field if I got ejected for making the same football play Gerry did.

Yeah, it is growing, as it should be.
I disagree. If you are a non or light drinker, not having alcohol at sporting events is just not that big a deal. If you are a regular, moderate, or heavy drinker, you can drink plenty before and after the game. If you need a belt within the span of a 3.5 hour game, it is pretty easy to bring in a flask and spike your coke. There is really no need for the university to provide alcohol, and it seems like it could cause more problems than it is worth.

We sell alcohol at Cajun Field (University of Louisiana at Lafayette) and it hardly ever a problem. It is actually pretty nice. People don't feel the need to pump themselves completely full of beer and liquor to make it through a game and people aren't as inclined to go out to the parking lot at halftime.

It has gone over extremely well.

You mean they actually had fans show up to a game for once?

I'm cleaning the stands next time this happens in a game the Huskers are playing.
