Bo Pelini by no means deserves a pass for the present dumpster fire. He and his lazy staff never took recruiting seriously. College football is cutthroat and if you aren't working your ass off recruiting then you are setting the program up for failure.

I wouldn't be mistaken for a Riley fan, but if there are any Amukamaras or Suhs on the present team, I haven't seen them.

Collins is pretty good, so is VV when healthy. M. Newby had a very good game yesterday. We have enough talent to be competitive in every game we have played thus far. It is very puzzling why we aren't winning about half the games that are coming down to the wire.

Agree here. Recruiting has been weak. Depth issues at some positions and no real superstars.
