Medical marijuana will not be on November ballot

Do you have kids and if you do do they know you smoke pot? Do you smoke pot in front of them?
I have nieces and a nephew. My brother has 2 kids and he smokes every day.
I don't smoke in front of anybody. Don't drink, smoke cigs or anything in front of them. They aren't for kids.

So unexpected. I’m now in San Francisco for several weeks and I’m trying somehow to put myself in order because I never expected here to be so good weed and such strong level of getting high. Absolutely another level. I like blunts, joints and smoke them when I want to find out about the weed, how it hits, what she is telling. This dispensary San Francisco Cannabis Dispensary this year made me happy so much and I will remember them for many years because where I’m from something like that will not be accepted, because people are afraid to open their eyes to something that is harmless.

Fresh Marijuana is one of the most pleasantly aromatic plants to have around.

It's delaying the inevitable. What's log rolling mean?
informal pact between members to vote for each other’s priorities. a quid pro quo exchange of favors if you will

I was hoping for a cooler definition in the urban dictionary, something related to upper decking or blumpkin, but no such luck.

I get ad's in the mail in omaha that there are stores that sell weed..like in south omaha, they show buds in the adds

I’m in the minority, I’m glad it’s not on the ballot just drive through small towns across the country and drive through the blighted neighborhood and you’ll see how weed and meth and other drugs have destroyed them.

Alcohol would be on top of that list of destructive drugs you listed, and anyone with a very basic comprehension of statistics knows this. I'm ok with drinks and bud, but it's not even close as to which was is deadly. I'm no advocate for meth but booze kills far more people than even that crap does.

even caffeine has weed beat when it comes to possible danger. Kids every year overdose on drinks or pills.

Weed slows down the electrons in the brain from firing...I only know one person it seriously helped, they would have convolutions from too many electrons firing.. Weed should be illegal for recreational use, just not draconian laws. We do want clear headed industrious folks so china doesn't do circle round us.

Even if weed did "slow down the electrons in the brain from firing", it being illegal for recreational use does not follow logically. Not every one wants to be uber industrious at all times. Abstract thinking is also valuable.

Certain strains stimulate the brain/thinking while some relax you.

I didn't read the whole thread but medical and recreational marijuana is on the South Dakota ballot and both are polling fairly well last I heard.

At the moment I believe that we have more important things to deal with. We will always have time to address this situation. Undoubtedly, medical marijuana has a lot of advantages that make it so important for those who are in need and have to battle chronic pain every single day. At the same time, there are still a lot of voices that raise concerns about making medical marijuana legal not only in the US but also in the entire world. Although I love marijuana and I get my products from weedsmart.net, I understand that there are a lot of people that might not feel the way I do, and I think we need to find a consensus on that.

What a ****ing idiot.

Nah...no one cares about Pete...it is just TO

365 Days after TO is gone...

Gambling
Booze sales at Memorial and PBA
Pot

Red/Blue has zero to do with it. I know more "red" guys that have an ounce of pot in their golf bag (hiding it from their wife of course) and that hit up the casinos 6 times a year and that gamble online "illegally" than I do "blue" guys that don't do that stuff.
I'm a Republican but I'm also not blind to the fact that passing gambling and marijuana would help our state dramatically. I could literally place a bet on my phone right now if I wanted to so why would the state not want in on the revenue?

Crazy take but, Not against weed, just prefer it being illegal. Look what’s happened to Denver. It is a sh$&hole. Legalization wasn’t the only contributing factor, but it played a role. Thanks. To each their own.

Denver....a $hithole....lol, you need to get out of Nebraska every once in a while. Only one of the best cities in the US, but yeah you do you.

Ever since this summer, downtown Denver is 100% a shithole. Buildings still boarded up, tent cities everywhere.

Not much to do with pot, though.

Take it from a resident.

Ha lived here for 25 years...move away if you don't like it, your home should be worth quite a bit, some Texan or Californian or (gasp) Nebraskan will take it off your hands - in fact, move to good ol Nebraska, I'm sure you will find many like-minded people there.

Denver is like any other big city, it has its good places and bad places....I love it here, such a great place to raise a family and enjoy all that Colorado has to offer.

I like Denver too, but downtown has taken a beating from the COVID restrictions. The protests did some damage too, but I think under normal circumstances that would have been fairly short-lived. Downtown was booming pre-COVID and any negatives were offset by vibrant growth. Hopefully that comes back, but time will tell.

I think I’ll stay and continue to call it a shithole while being disgusted by the human filth littering the streets.

Nothing beats getting a parking ticket while stepping over bum after bum on market street!
