Meanwhile on the other site

A poster stated some MOD from a Husker Message board told him that Betts has been faking Covid to get out of practice and weights, and then Damian Jackson beat him up.

Another poster, who claims to be an insider, called the original poster a liar and stated the allegation was fiction and "libelous." Is libelous even a real word? LOL

1. It sounds really far fetched if you think about it because the players are tested and go through tests all the time. That seems difficult to "fake."

2. If the story is false and the poster made it up, then the poster is really fvcked up because that's a really shitty allegation to make about a kid.

Wow, that’s a lot different picture than was being painted earlier in that thread. Making up something like that about a college kid, is completely messed up.

this thread will serve as a repository of evidence for the defense of those who may be unfairly prosecuted for simply speaking the truth

Scott Frost blames Nebraska’s bad snaps on claps from Iowa’s sideline

Clappy - Clappy

I think we should be able to sue Frost for that. It was painful and many of us suffered emotional abuse from football fans across the country for him saying that.

Years back a poster from the Husker Scout board created a story about to OU recruits being busted for distribution of cocaine. Copied a student newspaper page, and created the story. One was their prized QB recruit.

He was sued, he lost, it was a supreme embarrassment for Husker fans, and completely messed up for him to do what he did.

And he still posted on this board

Neb v Minn 2019

this one may not hold up as the Neb lawyers would most likely get it thrown out arguing that it was cold and that some players wore hoodies in warmups

And he still posted on this board

Mainly responding to the earlier query about whether one could be sued for libel.

He in fact still does post here on occasion.

He was not allowed to be on any message board for one year. Then he re-invented himself both on Scout, and here.

While I don’t think he could fake Covid since they are tested very frequently , he COULD probably fake longer term symptoms. He would have had to have had Covid to work.

that said, I believe about 0% of this right now

I was on the fence until Damien's name came up. There is no way a former operator is going to beat up a young college teammate. Nope, not happening.
