Here's the link to his best guess at Riley's depth chart, which will apparently be released at some point.

He cheats a bit at QB, basically listing Armstrong #1 and everyone else #2.

Surprise to me at WR, "Reilly was the best wideout this spring and clearly staked his claim to a starting job" He said Sutton had a nice spring at TE, little surprised to see a sighting of him on the depth chart.

McKewon and elsewhere seem to agree that Gangwish looked really good this spring. Still not sure if he'll be a dangerous pass rush threat, but we'll see.

Hard to say who'll start at guard but we have SO many possibilities there that whoever comes out on top will have to be pretty good. Next year could be scary at tackle. If every OT develops we'll be OK but how often does that happen?

Like he said; its good entertainment - and points out many things too those with some imagination.
QB - I get it TA gets us to 9-3; much further with a leap he needs to take with these coaches; otherwise tendency to be streaky; throw interceptions and lower % passer will require a backup to come in and rally. Also leads to sharing or losing starting position. I believe Darlington is the #2 spot; Bush has the talent, nerves got to him in the spring game.
RB - has to be by committee ; too much diverse talent, they deserve to play. Follow the hot hand on occasion.
Receiver - great talent; and jet sweeps and returns by our young AA are going to be something to see.
OL - Overall better; starts at center and moves out
TE's , Lordy if we can get them going.

With Coach Mike loving to lob long after shorting you to exhaustion; the O will be fun. Especially with the D getting the turn overs. D will be much better; LB's get it done and the D is outstanding at times.

Our DE and LB positions are a joke. Wtf was the previous staff doing?

2011 we signed 1 DE, a JuCo. 2012 we signed 2, but one was Avery Moss who go kicked off campus. 2013 they tried to make up for it by signing 4, but Gregory's gone already, Mixon and Suttles never made it, and Natter hasn't done anything yet. Nothing yet from 2014's King and Wills left the team. Fortunately Akinmoladun is at least as good a DE as he is a TE.

So out of 4 years of players recruited at DE we have what, McMullen, Natter, and King still on the team? Not good.

Linebacker it at least seemed like we brought in some really talented players, we just didn't keep enough on the team. DE was just mostly bad.

Is anybody else surprised that LeRoy Alexander is not starting?

Not projected to start? Not really since he was on the white team for the spring game. Lot of practices between now and BYU, though, he could definitely catch Cockrell. We have enough DB depth that a few good players won't get much time.

Who said Leroy Alexander isn't starting? It's May. People can give Pelini whatever excuses they want about the pathetic LB and DE depth but a lack of depth was always a problem with that circle jerk. Those two positions are just the most recent. I don't think WR has quality depth either.

Whats really amazing to me; Pelini was brought in for defense - and he coached LB's in Pros.

He developed his defensive system to play with 1 or 2 traditional linebackers, and then he would play a hybrid "Peso" like Dejon Gomes or Eric Hagg instead of a 2nd or 3rd LB. It worked really well when he had Callahan's talent and the best DT in a generation, and Nu was in the spread, pass happy Big 12. But the system was a horrid fit for the smash mouth B1G, Bo wouldn't change his system and that is why our Defense looked hopeless at times during the latter part of his tenure.
